Welcome to a new post from me. Today we are talking about different quotes about productivity.

„Take in what is useful, reject what is useless, and add what is your own.“ ~ Bruce Lee

What can you learn from this? Thou shalt remember only that which moves thee forward and block out that which sets thee back. You should concentrate on the essentials and fade out the other unimportant things. But it is important to separate the essential from the unessential.

„Ordinary people think only of spending time; great people think of using it.“ ~ Arthur Schopenhauer

What can you learn from this? You should use your time, with important things that move you forward and not just spend your time, so to speak, with no goal or purpose. Use your time wisely and don’t waste it.

„Efficiency means doing better what is already being done.“ ~ Peter Drucker

What can you learn from this? If you want to work efficiently you don’t have to reinvent anything but make better what is already there. You have to do faster and better what you or others did slower before.

„Success often comes to those who do not know that failure is inevitable.“ ~ Coco Chanel

What can you learn from this? You have to accept that no matter what you do, you can fail along the way. But that shouldn’t be seen as the end of the world but as knowing how you shouldn’t do it next time. You have learned from it that is the main thing.

A nice quote from Thomas Edison comes to mind:

„I have never failed I have only found 10000 ways how it does not work“.

„He who rises late must trot all day“ ~ Benjamin Franklin

What can we learn from this? Let’s try to relate that quote to the general and not just the aspect of getting up late. If you put things off or procrastinate on your tasks, then you will have to work harder the rest of the day, or the rest of the time you have left. Use the time you have, it always goes better. What you can do today, don’t put off until tomorrow.

„Action is the fundamental key to all success.“ ~ Pablo Picasso

What can you learn from this? You must not only recognize that there is an opportunity there but you must act and take advantage of the opportunity. Action is the key to a fulfilling life. Be constantly in motion. You always have to start acting first and then you can take care of everything else.

„Life is too complicated not to be orderly.“ ~ Martha Stewart

What can you learn from this? Declutter your life. Divide into important and unimportant. Life is incredibly concentrated and therefore it is necessary to divide it into categories and to order it. If your life is not sorted, the wave of disorder will eventually swamp you.

„Do not confuse the urgent with the important.“ ~ Preston Ni

What can you learn from this? I’ve mentioned categories before. And here they become important again. But this time the aspect of categorizing correctly is especially important. If you categorize your life then it’s still no use if you don’t do it right. Priorities are also an important thing. There is a difference between important and urgent. You have to know that not everything that is important is urgent and you have to distinguish between the two.

„If you want an easy task to seem very hard, just keep putting it off.“ ~ Richard Miller

What can you learn from this? The longer you put off a task the harder it will be to finish it. Do the tasks you can do today and instead of doing any unnecessary things, e.g. watching TV, TikTok, etc. do another task. You can always improve yourself no one is perfect so there are infinite tasks you can do to improve yourself.

„There is a tendency to confuse preparation with productivity. You can prepare all you want, but if you never roll the dice, you’ll never be successful.“ ~ Shia LaBeouf

What can you learn from this? Endless prepping is practically just procrastination. The most important thing is always to start. Learning by doing. Endless preparation doesn’t help because you have to adapt whatever you do specifically and individually to the situation. Only by preparing without ever daring to do something you will never be successful.

I hope you liked this post today. Give me some feedback in the comments if you liked the new format or if you have any suggestions for me. Have a great rest of the day.
