My favorite writing app

Today I would like to introduce you to my favorite writing app: Ulysses. Ulysses offers a focused writing experience that is optimally designed for those who love to write and especially to write a lot. Developed since 2003, the app is exclusive to the Appstore. This specialization in IOS apps provides a great experience on devices running IOS. The app focuses on creating the most distraction-free work environment possible, and I think it’s done that well. Until you finish your project and want to export it, by the way, another great feature of the app, you can upload your writing directly to Wordpress on your blog if you want or export as an e-book, don’t even bother with formatting or designs. Ulysses is about writing and nothing else and that’s what the app offers. An experience where you’re completely focused on your words. Another great feature I see in the app is goal setting, for example I can set how many characters or words I want to write today. I myself have been following the goal of writing at least 1000 words a day for a few months now to further improve my Writing Habit, if you want I’ll be happy to share in another post all the techniques I’ve used to build this habit and now continue to support it – and goal setting has really helped me with that. Also, the fact that it already shows me how many words I’ve just written while I’m writing is a significant plus from my point of view. By the way, I’m not sponsored or anything like that, I’m just convinced of the advantages the app offers me and wanted to give you the chance to use these advantages as well. The „file manager“ is also kept simple and minimalistic. Overall, I find the minimalism and simplicity that the app definitely helps my writing with to be a major reason why I love the app so much. Another great benefit is the legal spelling and grammar correction. I don’t know what I would do without those. Of course I know English, but the app helps you improve in a much deeper sense, it swaps words with synonyms for example, who you have used them a lot or recommends you to shorten sentences if they are too long. The app is dedicated with its purpose to real authors who write long and real books with it, but I just find the benefits it offers to authors the best thing about it. There are numerous authors, like David Hewson, who write their bestsellers using Ulysses. Finally, although this post is already too full of praise, I just want to reiterate that I highly recommend this app to you, I am not making any profit with this statement, so you can be sure that this tip is honest and helpful. The only downside I see with the app is the price, I pay it and find it perfectly okay and am also very happy to pay that. Of course, as a student I get a great discount so that I only have to pay $12 for 6 months, but otherwise the prices are actually okay, but for a writing app where you have to admit that Google Docs has more features and is also free, I find the prices a little bit exaggerated. But as always, it depends on what value the app has for you, and for me, the $2 I spend a month on it definitely pays for itself, and even so, it just has an immense advantage for my mental health, because I also write my journal in the app, among other things, and of course that can’t be offset with money. So, but now it’s enough, I hope you could make a good impression and if you also want to make yourself, the app has a one-week demo period, for which you also do not have to provide any data, after the demo period you can then simply decide whether you like the app or not. I hope I could help you with this recommendation and end the post for today.
