This will be just a smaller post. I have noticed that you particularly like the topic „Mental Health“ and wanted to give you now a few smaller lessons.

Stress management:

Nowadays you are confronted with stressful situations at every corner and if you don’t want to have a burnout sooner or later you should look for an outlet to get rid of stress. There are some techniques for this, like something:

  1. meditation
  2. writing a journal
  3. taking a relaxing walk
  4. doing sports
  5. reading

I’ve written posts about almost each of these topics so feel free to check them out on my Medium – Where good ideas find you. (Link)

Depression:

When it comes to depression, as a normal person who is not a therapist/psychologist, I am not authorized to give you any advice and I definitely recommend that you seek professional help if you are struggling with depression, because it will hurt you in the long run.

However, I think regular exercise and being outside for at least 30 minutes a day could help prevent depression.

Wisdom:

Anything that is good for your body is good for your mind and vice versa.

Consistency is important to achieve your goals.

It is always important to be honest with yourself even if you may not like it.

Mindfulness:

It is fundamentally important when being mindful in life, but especially when it comes to your mental health. For this, I recommend the first 3 stress management techniques. All of them will help you be more mindful and gain more awareness about yourself.

Self Care:

As I said before everything that does your body good also does your mind around and of course the other way around as well. Your mental health is largely influenced by physical factors. Therefore it is incredibly important that you do your body good. But note that you can also train too much, which is negative.

Basically, I want to say that you should know that you have the power and only you can improve your life sustainably. You should use this power to make your life more positive. It is always worse but also always better. If you have serious problems, however, you should seek professional help and not consult such a post to solve your problems.

I hope I could help you with this post and wish you a nice day. Maybe go out for a walk. It certainly won’t do any harm.
